Kaunakakai House Details
With palms surrounding the deck, each rental has privacy when rented to separate parties and are perfectly suited to rent together for larger groups of 8 or less. Whether coming from the beach or from a hike, the outdoor, family-sized bamboo shower offers a wonderful tropical refresher. Downstairs is a bathroom, laundry room and storage for beach chairs and amenities. Hale Pukoo Cottage is located in a true Hawaiian community with roosters crowing, dogs barking, kids playing and a small 'neighborhood' store nearby. About 16 miles east of Kaunakakai, Hale Pukoo offers all the refined amenities for a couple or a small family. Larger groups may be accommodated by also booking the adjacent beach front home. The cottage is designed with a tropical feel of woven bamboo, seagrass and high pitched ceilings with palm leaf fans and consists of two bedrooms, open kitchen, dining and living area, slate walk-in shower and bath.
