Big Sky is a two-season resort -- open in the winter from late November until mid-April, and open in the summer from early June through early October. In winter, skiing at Big Sky is the ultimate experience, with its 400 inches of annual snowfall and 85 miles of named runs -- as well as lots of elbow room. Slow down the pace by exploring the backcountry on snowshoes or nordic skis.
