A Perfect Golf Vacation: There are plenty of golf courses in the area, but Rotonda alone offers 6 courses and our Golf Scoop promotion is perfect for golf enthusiasts. The 'Golf Scoop' promotion in low season offers up to 2 adult guests and up to 2 children under the age of 14 (each must be accompanied by a playing adult), unlimited free golf on 4 of the Rotonda courses (81 holes). There is a $50 administration fee and if golf karts are used, this is a personal expense. In High Season, the Golf Scoop is a 'must' if you play two or more rounds of golf a week. In high season 2009, the cost in additional to the fee is just $50 per person, per week. In the 2009 Festive Season and the High Season 2010, the rate will remain $50 per person, per week. Still cheaper than paying for 3 rounds of golf a week!
Baseball is back in town!!: Why not enjoy watching the Charlotte Stone Crabs. The minor leaguers are the Tampa Bay Rays new Class-A Florida State League affiliate. Enjoy watching one or more games between April 11 2009 and September 06, 2009. For special rates and availability, please call us for more details. If you are visiting Florida earlier, the American League Champion Tampa Bay Rays have their spring training camp at the newly renovated Charlotte Sports Park. The season opens on Wednesday February 25 against the Cincinnati Reds and runs until April 04, 2009.
Fishing with the Professionals: We can arrange fishing trips with Capt Jarrett Lombard who regularly competes in the Oh Boy O'Berto Redfish Cup Tournaments. He offers both backwater fishing and whole day trips fishing for Tarpon, Shark and Cobia. He can take up to 3 fishermen per boat and can arrange for up to 4 boats at any one time. Booking is advised well in advance of your vacation because he is in great demand, particularly in peak season.
