South Dennis House Summary
This three-bedroom/1.5-bath ranch home features a large deck, a fenced back yard, a large, fully-equipped eat-in kitchen, and a living room with a fireplace. It sleeps seven persons with two twin beds, two-full-size beds, and a twin futon. Amenities include a barbecue grill and patio furniture. We've just added a new dishwasher, tiled the kitchen floor and installed new carpeting in the living room, hallway and master bedroom.
The home is on a cul-de-sac adjacent to the start of the Cape Cod Rail Trail. Bike rentals are available at the start of the trail. And all the necessary conveniences are right around the corner.
This is a great family home for all ages! All we ask is that you treasure our home as much as we do, and clean up after yourselves before leaving at the end of the week.

South Dennis is a quaint village and centrally located. My home is on a cul-de-sac which leads to the beginning of the Cape Cod Rail Trail. The township of Dennis includes not only South Dennis, but Dennisport, & East & West Dennis as well. It spans across the Cape from Nantucket Sound to Cape Cod Bayfor the best of both shores - over 10 different beaches - with only one visitor's beach sticker. Dennis proper is the home of the oldest theater in the country and a beautiful site - don't miss it. We are only minutes from the South Dennis shopping center where you can find all the amenities. You can get to Hyannis in 20 minutes for wonderful shopping and historical sites. Or take a day trip to our absolutely famous and one of a kind - Provincetown. And don't forget Whale Watching! You can get boats out of Hyannis or P-Town! I saw a whale that was incredible on my first whale-watching trip out of P-Town!

Enjoy the tradition of Dennis's Theater - the oldest theater in the Northeast. Hike on nearby cranberry bog trails or bike the Rail Trail all the way to the National Seashore. Visit the state park in Brewster nearby. Take fishing trips from nearby Chatham and the ferry to Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard. Amenities: Fireplace, TV, Cable, DVD, VCR, Radio, Telephone with answering machine. Full eat-in Kitchen, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, cooking utensils provided including a large lobster pot; Washer/Dryer. Maps and brochures are left at the house. Gas grill is on the deck. Sorry, linens and towels are not provided. Activities: swimming at the many Cape Cod beaches or Scargo Lake; fishing, golfing, boating, hiking, cycling, shopping and - of course - many delightful restaurants - don't miss Captain Frosty's! Theaters, museums, bookstores, cranberry bogs, ferries and a train ride. Town of Hyannis - 20 min, Town of Provincetown, with it's National Seashore - 50-60 min.
