Sunset House welcomes you to Saratoga Lake.: Across the road (Rt 9P) and down stairs is a relatively private grass and stone reinforced, 55-foot beach. Swim from the dock and moor your small boat here or in nearby marinas (rentals available). Try our canoe, tube, or blow up child kayak. The great room combines kitchen, breakfast counter, TV/reading/sitting area, and a dining area overlooking the sunken living/garden room with 180 degree view of the lake. The deck encourages outside cooking and dining. A covered porch overlooks the lake offering shade and shelter. A sunny sunken patio, perennials and enclosed grass yard offer sunbathing and safety for children. Three comfortable bedrooms await you, one with its own garden access and deck. Our furniture is meant for comfortable living. Parking is available for three or four cars. The home is conveniently located near numerous local attractions.
Just ten minutes away you can enjoy the beauty and excitement of Saratoga Springs, the home of Skidmore College and our internationally famous Saratoga Racetrack. We're just five minutes to the Saratoga National Golf Course, 30 minutes to the fun and glory of Lake George and the mountains and adventures of the Adirondack Park. Numerous fine museums, shops, and restaurants (lakeside and in town) await you. Come enjoy yourselves - spring, summer, autumn, winter (Yes, even Christmas week and New Years). Remember, we are close to wonderful things. Enjoy our home, we do.
