The spacious great room and sunroom (each 30 feet long), in addition to the half-acre site, make this a wonderful place for a one- or two-week vacation with the family -- or a longer-term exploration of retirement possibilities. This quiet country location is just seven miles from Taylorsville, and 12 miles from Hickory.

Retirees and soon to be retired: This is a great location to check out possible retirement homes in western and central-western North Carolina: Hickory, Asheville, Hendersonville, Boone, Charlotte, Winston-Salem and Greensboro areas are all close enough to scout out and still come 'home' each night. For extended stays in the off-season, call for special rates.

Fishing: Best seasons are mid-spring, especially April, and mid-fall, especially October

Furniture shoipping: Hickory & Lenoir have the largest selection of furniture direct from the manufacturers. Great discounts, large selection of styles and prices.
