Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

- Our property will sleep approximately 20 people. Our rate is for 10 adults, and there is a $50 charge for each extra person over 18.
Special arrangements are necessary for weddings, and we will be happy to help you have the wedding of your dreams. - We primarily rent by the week, but will accommodate a minimum stay of 2 nights.

- There are 6 bedrooms on the 2nd floor, 5 with their own sink, and the Master Bedroom has en-suite. There is a separate shower room on this floor as well. The 3rd floor has 3 bedrooms and a full bath with a lovely, comfortable tub. Each bedroom has a sink, and the Tower Room has a separate room in the tower.

Georgetown House Details
1930's Dance Pavilion: There is plenty of everything needed for entertaining a large group. The 1930's dance pavilion is adjacent to the house, and was built when the property became a hotel. Guests would travel by train, car, and horse to The Highlands -- to the dances that were held there. Two room-length balconies are perched over the plank dance floor; and a ping-pong table, basketball net, and snooker table are available for recreation. The Pavilion also has a powder room, kitchen with sink, propane stove, fridge, and a barbecue on the veranda. It is a wonderful place to eat or relax in the many comfortable chairs and couches -- enjoying the beautiful weather from the veranda or a warming fire inside.
Weddings: The property is a tried and true amazing location for a wedding! We will be happy to discuss this with you, and we have an experienced wedding planner who has staged beautiful weddings on the property. July 27/06 'Thank you for sharing your beautiful property with us. Our wedding was more perfect than could ever be imagined… The house, the pavilion, the large lawn – all helped to make for a wonderful day. Golf: At the Brudenell River Resort which is about 3 miles from The Highlands there are 3 golf courses. Brudenell & Dundarave are both Championship 18 hole courses and they also have a 9 hole executive course. The renowned Links at Crowbush Cove is about 1/2 hour drive from The Highlands.
