Although the house is a non smoking house, guests can smoke on front porch area and in rear lounging area.
Beach equipment can be arranged for and there are several close locations to rent bicycles to ride along the beach. ( There is a very nice bike trail that goes along the beach. You could ride all the way to the end of Balboa to the famious surf spot called the Wedge and the other way would take you to another great surf location. Bolsa Chica State Beach.) Boats can be rented in close by Newport Beach. There is interesting kayaking through upper Newport Bay into the wildlife preserve. There is sportfishing rentals and day boats in Newport Beach.
