There is an additional $50-$100 damage/cleanliness deposit. A $30 cleaning fee will be taken out of the deposit if the condo is left unclean (we provide cleaning supplies for you which most people choose to do it themselves-it's easy). The full deposit will be given back within 30 days after check out and inspection of the Condo. The mandatory taxes (10% total) on the base rent are: a 5% Virginia Sales Tax and a 5% Franklin County Occupancy Tax. - ***Stay with us and receive 5% off on a fishing trip with Captain Bert Fishin' Charters. Condo amenities include an Olympic-size swimming pool, a kiddie pool, a tennis court, sport court, horseshoes, a bathhouse, a picnic shelter with a gas grill, a clubhouse, laundromat. Beautiful golf course locations are just minutes away. For boaters you can put your boat in and out with an easy access boat ramp and on site parking for your trailer and boat. Boat slip rentals are available upon request and subject to availability for a small fee. Smith Mountain Lake covers 22,000 acres, with 500 miles of shoreline, and is nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It reigns as Virginia's top freshwater striped bass fishery, and holds the lake record of 49.4 lbs. for striped bass. We also offer guided fishing charters for full or half-day trips.
