Easy Access to 9 Ski Areas!: The best thing about Little Brook House in the winter is how easy it is to get to world-class skiing, Vermont style! You'll find a number of excellent ski mountains within an hour’s drive, ranging from the sheer massiveness of Killington, to its smaller partner Pico, to the family friendliness of Bromley and Ascutney, to the class of Stratton. Other activities close by include ice skating, sledding, snowshoeing (out the back door!), cross country skiing, shopping and more.
A Homey Home Base: Hang out at home at the end of the ski day. Pout some hot chocolate and just relax. The big dining table invites you to linger for hours. Listen to the stereo or enjoy a video or DVD from our extensive collection in front of the stone-and-exposed-wood fireplace in the living room. Or move into the family room for a wicked game of Scrabble or backgammon. (The house is fully equipped with indoor games.) Both the living room and den have sofa-beds so you can include your entire family! Later, soak up to your neck in the luxurious whirlpool bath or hang out with the group in the hot tub on the back deck!
Come to Little Brook House at Echo Lake -- and make it your 'home away from home.'
Guest Book: We went up to the Little Brook House for the week of New Year's, and things were perfect. The house was everything it was advertised to be. It was as big as they said it would be, and even had a Pull-out sofa that made a double bed. The house and hot tubs were very clean, and the beds all had fresh linens. Also, there is a Washer and Dryer, so we were able to maintain cleanliness. There was firewood, and parking enough for 8-10 cars. The house is located close to Okemo, as well as Killington. All in all, we had a very enjoyable time at the Little Brook House. -Ryan, NY I recently spent a ski weekend at this house with a few friends. It was very well located, about 10 mins. from Okemo, and about 20 to Killington. The owner worked with me to arrange everything, and made it very easy to make reservations. Th house itself was very nice and spacious, everyone enjoyed their stay. I strongly recommend this house to anyone looking for a place to stay in Vermont. --Sean, NJ
