Santa Barbara House Details
In addition to the second bedroom, there is a loft with an Internet office and two futon beds, which can serve as a third bedroom. The master redwood bath includes a picture window with stunning views. The beautiful, large kitchen area is equipped with everything. The dining room has a large antique table and chairs from Spain, as well as vaulted beam ceilings, and a large window that looks out over all of Santa Barbara. A beautiful enclosed garden with a flagstone eating area is surrounded by the natural sandstone boulder landscape. Hummingbirds, butterflies, redtail hawks, and eagles sail by the huge picture windows. Quail and turkeys call from the chaparral. Perched on the rim of one of the highest Santa Barbara mountains, this magic home is 20 minutes from downtown Santa Barbara and only 25 minutes from the beach. Just walk out the front door and hike for miles in the wondrous Santa Barbara foothills, home of the Chumash Indians.
Take a 15-minute hike and explore a Chumash painted cave! A gardener is provided by the owners. The city of Santa Barbara offers almost every sport and cultural opportunity imaginable. Both the University Extension and the Adult Education program offer courses in the arts, psychology, and computers, among other things. Santa Barbara deservedly is called the Riviera of the West.
