- Reservations must be guaranteed by check or money order. A deposit of 50% is required to hold a reservation. Payment of rental balance is due 30 days in advance of rental date. Upon receipt of balance, key box code (located on front door) will be sent by e-mail or phone call. Security deposit is due at time of rental deposit. Security deposit will be refunded upon satisfactory inspection after your stay. Any damages will be deducted from deposit.

Sharpsburg Cottage Details
Relaxing Atmosphere: This is an excellent place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. You will enjoy a view of the Potomac River and the C&O Canal Towpath from the deck. The hot tub is on the deck and is a truly awesome place to sit and enjoy the gorgeous surroundings. It is really quiet and dark at night.
Great Location: We are located at mile marker 71 on the C&O Canal Tow Path. The Potomac River is practically in the front yard. The public boat ramp is a few yards away. The Antietam Battlefield is within 4 miles of the house. Snyders Landing Road is a dead end, very little traffic. We are 5 minutes from Shepardstown West Virginia. Shephardstown is a quaint little town with speciality shops and restaurants on the campus of Shephardstown College.
