Ponte Vedra Beach House Summary

Beach Music is a fabulous 3600 square-foot, oceanfront home which is perched on one of the highest dunes in the Ponte Vedra/St. Augustine area. It's built on two levels, with the main living area on the second level. On this level, the house offers panoramic ocean views from the living-dining-kitchen area and the master suite. In addition to these rooms, the second level contains two additional bedrooms and a second full bath. Access to the ocean is through four sets of oversized sliding doors onto a deck which runs the length of the house -- and then along a walkway over the dune, and down to the beach. On the lower level there is a huge game room with pool table, large sofa, and bar, as well as a screened porch, a bath, laundry, and three more bedrooms! The bunk room is a delight for kids, with a three-level bunk bed, a TV/VCR, and plenty of play space. Both of the other bedrooms have queen beds. There are TVs and VCR or DVD in 5 of the 6 bedrooms.

Beach Music is located in South Ponte Vedra Beach, on a quiet barrier island between Jacksonville and St. Augustine. The beach itself is very private since there are no high rises, fast food restaurants, or driving on the beach. However, we are only 6 miles from downtown historic St. Augustine, with its many attractions, golf, shopping, dining, and fun activities. In the opposite direction is Ponte Vedra Beach, a 15 minute trip to more golf, shopping, dining, and more. In addition to the beach, our guests have many opportunities for boating and fishing, antiquing, live theatre, festivals, eco-tourism, museums, art galleries, and the historic sites of St. Augustine, America's Oldest City. For a change of pace, many of our guests choose the optional membership to the Serenata Beach Club, located just two miles from Beach Music. The Club has 3 huge pools including one just for toddlers, structured activities for kids, several dining venues, work out room, rentals of kyacks, and more.

Ponte Vedra Beach House Rates

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

  • $3000-$6000 weekly
  • Taxes of 9% are additional
    $225 cleaning fee for 3 night rentals; for rentals of 4 nights or more, renters have the option of paying $225 cleaning fee or doing some basic cleaning (some laundry, leave kitchen and grill clean, empty all trash in tied bags, etc. Contact manager or owner for details.
    Pets considered on individual basis with additional $500 damage deposit and $300 pet fee per pet
    $500 deposit required to book; 1/2 rent due at booking; remainder due 8 weeks in advance
    Babies up to 2 years in crib are free
    Weekly only at all holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Easter, July 4th. $500 holiday up charge.

Notes: Beach Music has been totally remodeled inside and out during January-March 2007. It lives and looks like a brand new home. We have a new kitchen with top quality appliances, granite counters and huge 5 X 9 granite topped island. All rooms have been remodeled with new ceilings, including wood ceilings in the main living area. The house has been painted inside and out, with new high quality mouldings installed. All lighting, fans, and many other features have been replaced. We have replaced carpeted bedrooms with new carpet and bamboo. The decking in front and back has been repaired and/or replaced. New bedding has been installed throughout the house. Beach Music is, by far, the nicest oceanfront rental in this area. You won't ever want to leave!

We provide plenty of in-house amenities in case our guests tire of the beach and the many nearby attractions. Six televisions, a DVD player, two VCRs, two stereos, and numerous games, books, and puzzles are sure to keep everyone occupied! Don't forget to inquire about the optional temporary membership to the nearby Serenata Beach Club! The Club has 3 huge pools, including one just for toddlers, several dining venues, work out facility, full time activities director, babysitting services, rentals of kayacks, and much more! The house is fully equipped with linens, kitchen equipment and supplies, and even beach chairs and beach toys for the kids. You won't ever want to leave!
