La Jolla Cottage Rates
Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.
- $1200.00 - $1700.00/week
- Reservations: To reserve your dates, a deposit of 50% of the total rent is required. This deposit may be secured by providing a check, money order, Visa or MasterCard. Please note that dates cannot be guaranteed until your deposit is received. The remaining rent, plus tax and security deposit will be due 15 days prior to your arrival date.
- Cancellations: Should you wish to cancel your reservation, notice of cancellation must be in writing or via e-mail and received more than 60 days prior to your check-in date. If cancellation notice is received more than 60 days in advance of arrival date, we will refund all of the reservation deposit (minus a 3% credit card handling fee is a credit card was used to secure payment). If cancellation notice is received less than 60 days in advance of arrival date and the property is re-rented at the same rate to another party, we will refund all of the reservation deposit except a $300 cancellation fee. If the property is not re-rented, we will retain the entire reservation deposit. Please note that La Jolla is a very popular vacation spot, and beach rentals remain in demand. Guests who must cancel are assured that we will make every possible effort to re-rent the property through a variety of advertising and networking.

- The master bedroom is located on the second floor and has a king-sized bed, 15-in TV and VCR, two closets and reading lights on both sides of the bed. The second bedroom is located in the loft. It has a full-sized bed with a twin-sized bunk above and a 15-in television, and reading lights near the bed. This bedroom is divided from stairwell coming upstairs with a railing and movable screen for privacy. This room is safe for children, however there is no noise barrier between this room and the rest of the house. All linens (sheets, pillows, blankets) are provided.

The second bedroom is located in the loft. It has a full-sized bed with a twin-sized bunk above. All linens (sheets, pillows, blankets, bath towels, beach towels) are provided. There is a full bathroom on the second floor, a sink and mirror in the second bedroom, and a half-bath on the first floor off the living room. The Yellow Cottage shares a quiet yard/patio area with a neighboring historic structure; this area is ideal for barbecues and outdoor dining. The outdoor fireplace is another amenity that encourages guests to enjoy the yard area. The home's picturesque front porch -- complete with rocking chairs and a private deck off the dining room -- provides wonderful morning and afternoon locations to enjoy the southern California sun. The Yellow Cottage is only a two-minute walk from Sea Lane Beach, a scenic beach used mainly by locals. This is a great spot to enjoy a glorious sunset, dine on the sand, do some shelling, or swim in the refreshing ocean.
