Scottsdale and Chandler have fantastic Shopping and Restaurants. There is hiking in the desert, model home tours, or just relaxing. Grand Canyon is 4 hours away, Sedona 2 hours away. Superstitions 1 hour drive to some great mountain day hikes. Arizona State University is about 6 miles and some of the best hospitals in the country are located in the valley. (including the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale)
