There are supermarkets and grocery stores near by and cozy coffee shops. On 5Th Avenue there a stylish boutiques and great hair salons. In case you need medical attention Methodist Hospital in a few blocks away. There are plenty of cabs in the area to take you around town if you don't want to take the subway. You will enjoy the Brooklyn Museum, Botanical Gardens and the Brooklyn Library all located with in walking distance. And of course Prospect Park.
