You may wish to rent bikes just down the street - and/or rent paddle boards, surf boards, or kayaks at the nearby Santa Cruz Yacht Harbor. Take a leisurely riverside stroll down to Pacific Street where you can browse the boutique shops and/or catch a movie at one of the nearby theatres.
Some Other Ideas: Ride or stroll down to the Wharf to purchase fresh sea food directly off the boats of the incoming fisherman. Cook your meal up in the chef’s kitchen, with a fire burning in the nearby fireplace, and sit around afterwards playing card games.
