The uniqueness of Honey's Retreat is that it has much more to offer than the average home in Carmel. There is beauty everywhere you look, inside and outside. The side deck is a lovely area to sit and meditate or read with trees, gardens and flowers all around. The large outdoor private brick patio and garden in the back of the house offers the same amenities as the side deck. It is a peaceful spot to grill on the barbecue and eat your meal on the lovely wrought iron table and chairs. It is a very relaxing environment inside and out. We offer beautiful, comfortable beds for restful sleeping, equipped with rich bedding, linens and towels. Our living spaces are large and cozy at the same time decorated with lovely art from all over the world. The short walk to town is quick and easy with an opportunity to see beautiful and unique homes on the way. The 12 block walk to the beach or the many walking trails through the woods offer more beautiful scenery.

Surrounding Areas---Something for Everyone

If you want to be active there are many things to do in the area. Carmel abounds with beautiful Art galleries, delicious restaurants, live entertainment (plays and concerts), wonderful shopping for clothes, jewelry, china, gifts, antiques, and just about anything else you can think of. Beautiful Pebble Beach's 17 mile drive, Fisherman's Wharf in Monterey and the famous Monterey Aquarium are just a few miles away. There are all types of boating and water sports available. Pacific Grove has its unique Victorian Homes. Big Sur is famous for its steep cliffs and incredible ocean views. Point Lobos is one of the most beautiful State Parks in California. Carmel Valley, a short ride away, offers wonderful tastings at its wineries, horseback riding, interesting shopping and lovely vistas. There are 21 Golf Courses in this area as well as a lovely Spanish Mission. Something for everyone.
