Bristol Cottage Details
Surrounding sites - Bristol, RI: Historic Bristol was founded in 1681 and has been known as a colonial seaport town ever since. It's beauty and charm, colonial architecture and Federal period houses have been admired by all who visit. Delightful shops, a plethora of fine restaurants, a beautiful winding bike path and the grandeur of Narragansett Bay have all combined to make this a very special place. Access to other places of interest is easy - Newport is 20min. away by car, Brown University approx. 40 min. away, Boston - 1hr/15min., and Roger Williams University is but a 5 min. walk. Ferry rides to the surrounding islands can be had twice a day, and Summer trips on the Bay Queen passenger boat going to Newport saves gas and offers you a delightful lunch as well as a lecture on the varieties of sea life in the Bay.
