Designed by acclaimed golf course architect, Billy Bell in 1962 and updated by Gary Bickler in 2005 , Palm Desert Country Club in Palm Desert may be without a doubt one of the best golfing values in the Palm Springs area. The new owners spent twelve million dollars on an extensive renovation. The golf course and club house re-opened in October 2006 - and was chosen - of all the courses in the country, as the recipient of Golf Inc Magazine's 2006 Renovation of the Year Course!
