- Birders take notice! We are adjacent to the Lubec Sand Bar, debatably one of the top 10 Maine birding areas. Enjoy a stay during the migrations in September ! Bald Eagles are sighted all year long! And our gardens are designed bird-friendly.
The Reservation Deposit:
A $400 per week [$500 per week with pet(s)] deposit is due when placing your reservation. Your reservation is held for one week pending receipt of your deposit. Once your deposit is received your reservation will be confirmed. The deposit becomes a damage deposit during your stay.
No nightly stays during July, August and early September; During these months, weekly stays run from Saturday to Saturday.
No cleaning fee. Full payment of rent and tax is due at least 6 weeks prior to your stay.
Check-in anytime after 4:00 pm; Check-out by10:00 am. - We welcome your well-behaved pet(s) at Lubec Bay Cottage. There are plenty of fields, beaches and trails for you and your pet(s) to enjoy. Maximum of two small to medium-sized dogs. Add $15 per night for one pet; $25 per night for two pets. Prior approval is required for pets.
Lubec Bay Cottage cares: We support Lubec's Lost Fishermen's Memorial Association, the Wounded Warrior Project, the Vets Helping Heroes Organization for Assistance Dog Training, and the ACA Camps' - Send A Child to Camp Fund; we donate a week's stay to Vacations for Veterans. We are a Maine DEP-Certified Environmental Leader cottage implementing GREEN environmentally-friendly practices.

The spacious second floor full bathroom has a large tub with shower and hand shower, and is adjacent to both bedrooms. The towels are plentiful and very soft for your comfort. Housekeeping uses environmentally-friendly Green cleaning and laundry products.

- Our romantic master bedroom and welcoming second bedroom are wonderful for having peaceful nights' rests. Both bedrooms are decorated with antique furniture, beautiful hand hooked rugs, and coastal decor. Enjoy our comfortable beds with quality linens and choose from our selection of bed pillows, which allows you to choose the one that's right for you. For warmer evenings very quiet ceiling fans cool each bedroom. For cooler evenings soft fleece blankets warm the night. Our balcony off the master bedroom is a wonderful space for savoring your morning coffee while enjoying the sunrises and panoramic ocean views. Our second bedroom has beautiful views of the Bay along with its garden views of our fragrant sea roses and perennial gardens.
