Festivals and other activities: In addition to the above activities, there are craft fairs, food fairs, arts festivals, film festivals and antique shows throughout the summer. The nearby Miniwaska State Park and Mohonk House have easy hiking trails in the summer and easy x-country skiing and snowshoeing trails in the winter. And we can show you all the 'secret' swimming holes in the area, or just enjoy our own creek right on our property.
You have experienced outdoor guides!: The owners are experienced outdoor guides who can help you enjoy the surrounding natural abundance to the fullest. If you are staying for an extended period, we can provide basic instruction and even equipment for you to adventure into a new relationship with nature. Spend some nights sleeping down by the creek, or learn how to move more quietly in the woods, or fide out what all those night sounds are!
Make it a spiritual experience.: The area abounds in meditation centers, yoga studios and spiritual retreat centers that have open classes. Or use our meditation room, creekside meditation spots or the nearby waterfall to create your own retreat periods.
