Household Amenities: All rooms in the villa are fully furnished, and have their own private entrance. Imported Italian tile, and exotic hardwood and hand-carved doors throughout the villa. There are two fireplaces (in the living room and master bedroom). The kitchen is fully equipped including a microwave, blenders, and coffee maker among other appliances. Other amenities include a wet bar, telephone, Fax, Direct TV, DVD,DVD movie's, Internet connection and stereo system. Linens and towels are provided. There is a washer and dryer for your convenience. Maid service is provided every third day. A cook can be arranged for a reasonable fee (extra). Villa Encantada's main level has vaulted ceilings (28 ft. high) and two stories of floor to ceiling glass give a feeling of total immersion in the lush tropical surroundings and manicured gardens with a majestic view of Lake Arenal to the front of the home and the rain forest with its natural ponds, ornamental plants and waterfalls at your back door

Local Activities: If you can drag yourself away from the comfortable serene surroundings at Villa Encantada there are many adventure activities available in the immediate area to be enjoyed. We can assist with a complete tour option itinerary. Visit the Arenal Volcano, Tabacon Hot Springs, Fortuna Waterfalls, Canopy Tours, White Water Rafting and many other near-by attractions. Lake Arenal windsurfing, kayaking, water-skiing, lake tours, and fishing excursions for your enjoyment. Rental equipment available. Jungle treks through the rain forest is an Eco-adventure of a lifetime. See Monkeys, Iguanas, Deer, Birds. Tour Lake Arenal in Villa Encantada's own Kayaks. Day Excursions: EASY self guided day excursions to Monteverde, Cano Negro, National Parks and many beaches--all within 2-3 hours from the villa. Some of the many options are: Corobici River and waterfalls guided float trip. See wildlife, alligators, monkeys, sloths ands birds. White water rafting on Class 2, 3 and 4 rapids. Palo Verde National Park and the Rio Tempisque lowland area. Monteverde Cloud Forest Biological Reserve with over 450 bird species sighted. Cano Negro Wildlife Reserve includes a lake and marshlands of over 800 hectares and 5 separate habitats. Santa Rosa & Guanacaste National Parks. Rincon de la Vieja National Park (volcano and cloud forest with many hot springs and waterfalls). Barra Honda National Park features caverns of limestone descending to a depth of 240 meters. The pacific coastline is only 2 hours away. Our favorite beaches include Coco Beach, Playa Panama, Playa Hermosa, Playa’s Ocotal, Flamingo and Tamarindo.
