Spa & Golf: Enjoy First Class Spa treatment at the Emerson Spa & Resort, 'NY State's only Mobil Four-Star Spa outside of Manhattan', located along the Esopus Creek, just 3 miles from the Grogkill house. Go to the Emerson website, www.emersonresort.com for full details. Just 3 miles away and you can have full use of the steam room, sauna, indoor swim in place pool, exercise facility, yoga classes... for a nominal fee. Woodstock has a 9 hole Golf Course; Kingston has 19 hole courses, located approx 24 miles from the Grogkill House.

SKI Slopes: 17 miles to either Belleayre or Hunter Mountain ski slopes & annual festivities, and Wyndham Ski slopes a few miles more.
