Local Attractions: La Quinta's finest Silver Rock Resort is world renowned for golf. They host the Bob Hope Classic and there are many more challenging courses nearby. If tennis is your passion, attend the Pacific Life Open held at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden in mid-March. Just a couple of miles away is the Empire Polo Fields for polo enthusiasts. There is so much to enjoy in Palm Desert including the amazing Living Desert, the zoo, beautiful botanical gardens, the natural history museum, wilderness park , nature preserve and education center.
