Healdsburg House Summary

The Blue Heron sits right on the Russian River in Healdsburg, Sonoma County, California. Just a 5 minute drive, or a 10-15 minute bike ride to the plaza square, where you may want to go for morning coffee, shopping, wine tasting, or try one of the many restaurants all just a few minutes from the plaza. As you walk in the home you enter the living room area, with two sofas, comfortable chairs, and a wood burning fireplace. Continuing to your left is the fully equipped kitchen with gas range, multiple pots, pans, bowls, serving platters and utensils, and table for 8-10. As you walk through the laundry area you come to the extra large entertainment room, with queen sleeper sofa, big screen TV, stereo, VCR, game table with lots of games, day bed, and French doors exit to the deck. Down the hall are two guest bedrooms, each with queen size bed, and off the living room upstairs is the large master suite, with king bed and private bathroom.

Set on the Russian River, you can float, swim, canoe, kayak, visit dozens of nearby wineries, or take a short drive or bicycle ride into downtown Healdsburg where you will fine world class restaurants, tasting rooms, boutiques, shows, movies, antiques, and much more. Healdsburg sits at the confluence of Dry Creek and Alexander Valleys, where the Russian River provides watershed for its many vineyards. Scenic drives or bike rides will take you through beautiful wine country, whether it be in the spring for vine budding, summer with bountiful green leaves and grape clusters, or the harvest and fall colors.
