The Mermaid House is for individuals wishing for a laid back 'Keys' lifestyle vacation, Divers or anyone that needs 'wheelchair friendly' accommodations. This apartment is perfect for Divers as there is a separate gear wash/hanging area for all your dive gear & diving is less than 1 mile away! The entire yard is professionally landscaped & you are total privacy amidst palm trees, key lime & avocado trees, tropical ferns, air plants & much more. The Mermaid House is located just 1 1/2 hours from the Miami Airport, at mile marker 99.7 & 1 mile from downtown Key Largo. It is located in an upscale quiet neighborhood just 1/2 block from the Atlantic Ocean & is a separate downstairs apartment attached to the lower level of the main house. We live on property and want to make sure you have everything you need to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Deanna & Peter

What makes this location so wonderful is we are centrally located and near downtown Key Largo, but far enough away to just kick back and relax! With in 1 mile and as close as 1 block to the house we have: Swim with the Dolphins ; Key Largo Fisheries where you can buy fresh fish and seafood to grill out; Pilot House Marina where there are fishing and/or sailing charters as well as 2 waterfront restaurants; Diving, Snorkeling, more fishing ,Glass bottom boats and more shopping & Restaurants; and finally our Community Park including walking & bicycling track, basketball, skateboarding and aquatic center !
