The living room is large & airy w/vaulted ceilings & a giant stone fireplace. Each window of the house opens onto spectacular views of the vines, the lake & the mountains. Relax on the expansive porch & take in the sights and sounds of nature--herons, ducks, geese & owls, along w/many other varieties of bird. Or, if you're feeling a bit more active, take a walk around the 5-acre lake; try to spot a fox, or just watch jackrabbits dart between the vines! The lake, just 15 feet from the veranda, is cool and refreshing and is silky to the touch, whether or not you are clad in bathing suits. If you are so inclined, the lake is also stocked with bass for great fishing. This home is at the end of the valley and is surrounded by mountains, affording you unrivaled privacy, peace and quiet. It is truly breathtaking.

25 minutes from St. Helena, 25 minutes from Calistoga. From the edge of the vineyard, wonderful hiking trails climb into the hills. The Pope Valley Winery is just a couple miles away, offering free tastings and a fascinating tour. More wine tasting, spas, shopping, and fabulous restaurants are all within 25 minutes of the house. Nearby, also, is Lake Berryessa and all of its fantastic recreational activities.

Because Okin Family Vineyards is a fully functioning vineyard, there may be workers among the vines from time to time during your stay. Due to the substantial size of the property and the areas of concentration where the work is being done, this should not in any way compromise your experience; we have never had a complaint on this matter, but felt it should be mentioned. This is one of the most beautiful, comfortable and secluded homes in the Napa Valley.
