The beaches of Sullivan's Island and Isle of Palms (10 Min). Historic Charleston- wonderful restaurants, clubs, walking tours, horse drawn carriages, tours of historic homes, Aquarium (15 Min). Patriots Point Naval Museum and WII Aircraft Carrier USS Yorktown (10 minutes). Historic Boone Hall Plantation- scenes in 'Gone With The Wind' were filmed here. This is a working plantation (5 minutes). CSS Hunley- Recently raised civil war submarine (10 minutes). Shem Creek- Restaurants and offshore gulf stream fishing boats and sport fishing charter boats (10 minutes). Palmetto Islands County Park- picnicking, hiking, wildlife and water park(3 minutes).
