El Yunque Rainforest is five minutes away on Route #191. Nearby are Lolita's Mexican Restaurant, Sandy's Puerto Rican Food Restaurant, and King's Seafood Restaurant are five minutes away in Luquillo.
The Plaza Carolina Shopping Center is 30 minutes away in Carolina. Plaza Las Americas Shopping Center, the largest shopping center in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean (with Macy's, JC Penney, Sears, Borders Book and Music, Coach, Gap, Banana Republic, Old Navy, and many more stores), is just 40 minutes away in San Juan, and local artisans with beautiful handcrafted work at Plaza Las Americas and Old San Juan City. El Conquistador Resort Hotel is 15 minutes away in Fajardo. The Belz Factory Outlet Mall is 15 minutes away in Canóvanas. El Rancho (for horseback riding) is five minutes away in Luquillo. At Eastern Side: Luquillo (the best-known beach on the Island, Balneario de Luquillo), Fajardo (day sailing to the cays of Icacos, Palominos and Palominitos), a ferry to Vieques and Culebra islands (exquisite beaches).
