The townhome has a distinct Western lodge design: with peeled pine logs throughout the unit coupled with very nice fixtures and amenities. The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped for all your culinary needs and has marble counters and stainless appliances, ambient heat throughout provides a great touch when it's cold outside and you can run around in your socks inside, the wet bar with ice machine and wine refrigerator is great for making sure you are ready for a nice beverage after enjoying the outdoors in Steamboat. We have decorated our townhome with a blend of antiques and comfortable furnishings perfect for relaxing, entertaining, or just enjoying a book or watching a football game on the large screen TV.

The Mountaineer town homes also come with a: private shuttle service during the ski season to take you to the ski area, local restaurants and stores. Service runs throughout the day/evening and picks up/drops off directly at your door - no waiting at a shuttle stop. You can also call for service to take you and your party to restaurants or shopping in the evening. Additionally, the Mountaineer has a common year-round pool/spa area with two large outdoor hot tubs and a heated pool. These are located directly in front of our unit which makes it great when using the pool. All units also have heated 2 car garages with additional parking outside for up to 3 vehicles.

A bit about the layout of our unit. There are four: bedrooms (2 on the first floor, 1 on the second floor and 1 on the 3rd floor), 4 bathrooms, a loft, full-size kitchen with wrap around bar with seating, dining room area with wet bar, and a living room with gas fireplace for a total of over 2800 sq ft. 2 of the 4 bedrooms have queen size beds and are located on the 1st floor and 2nd floor respectively. The master suite, located on the top floor, is very large with a cathedral ceiling, king size bed, walk in closet, jetted spa bathtub, separate shower, separate toilet room, flat panel TV, and sitting area. The 4th bedroom is located on the 1st floor and has 2 large pine bunk beds - these bunks will hold children or adults (makes for a nice kids room). The loft has a queen size pullout sleeper sofa for extra guests and a computer area with high speed internet access. There are TVs in both bedrooms on the 1st floor as well as the master suite and living room.
