La Mision House Summary

Located 30 minutes south of Rosarito Beach on Baja's Gold Coast, this 1700 square foot, tri-level home has an ocean view. It is situated in the quiet, picturesque guard-gated seaside village of La Mision. The upper level features an open floor plan with living room with electric fireplace, dining area, full kitchen, and an outdoor deck - all with ocean view! Bathroom with stall shower. The garden (entry) level features a family room with trundle bed (2 single mattresses), and a cheerful view of the Mexican garden. Lower level has two bedrooms, one with pillowtop queen bed and the other with one plush top full bed & one pillow-top single bed. Mexican tile floors. Enclosed secluded garden patio with barbecue and cobble stone paths. Our home is just one level up from a two-mile-long sandy beach. We have easy beach access via stairs, concrete ramp, or path. Rent horses or go para-sailing on the beach. Fly fish for barred surf perch.

The quiet, picturesque guard-gated seaside village of La Mision is on Baja's Gold Coast about 90 minutes south of San Diego, Calif., 30 minutes south of Rosarito Beach, 40 minutes north of Ensenada. La Mision is ideal for romantic getaways, family vacations, and exploring Baja from Tijuana to La Bufadora. Our 2-mile long sandy beach is great for running, walking, riding horses, shelling, fishing, sunning, sand castles. Within 2 miles, you have live music and great food at the Famous La Fonda Restaurant and La Palapa de Jose. About 10 minutes north, feast on Mexican lobster at Lobster Village in Puerto Nuevo. Challenging golf at reasonable fees is available in 10 mins. South at dramatic 27-hole Baja Mar Oceanfront Course and 25 mins. North at lush 18-hole Real Del Mar Course. Shop and sightsee in Rosarito Beach and cruise - port town of Ensenada. Tour wineries, visit museums and cultural centers, charter a fishing boat.
