The apartment itself is within walking distance of Roland Garros, where the famous International Tennis Championships take place each year at the end May. Also, close to the famous Golf Club of Porte d'Auteuil. It is the perfect base for exploring Paris: Champs Elysées, Arc de Triomphe, Modern Art Museum, Marmottan Museum, Le Bois de Boulogne, are all within minutes. Rue de Passy, nearby, is a good place to browse for fashionable new clothing. At Place de Passy, you will discover an amazing covered market leading on to rue de l’Annonciation and a church just past a row of delicatessens, greengrocers and wine merchants..
It's definitely a pleasant area to go shopping. There are plenty of Cafés and restaurants, fashion shops, 'boulangeries' ( bakeries ) with delicious croissants, fruits and vegetable shops, flower shops, wine cellars, cheese shops, banks with ATMs, post office, etc. The Auteuil-Passy district is neighboring the Trocadero area, with its terraced gardens; the view of the Seine and Eiffel Tower is dominated by the Palais de Chaillot with the Museums of Navy and Mankind.
