We also have microwave, dishwasher, disposer, under-counter lighting, stereo, DVD/VHS player, new LCD flat-screen television, and the most comfortable king sized bed you will ever sleep in. We also furnish a nice selection of Hawaiian guide books as well as many books on Hawaiian culture and history to help you fall asleep.

Kona Makai is a quiet complex, gated for security, and conveniently located 1 mile South of Kailua town on beautiful Alii Drive within easy walking distance to town. The grounds are simply breath taking; the view and the colorful gardens full of every kind of Hawaiian plant one can imagine. A reviewer for a national travel magazine awarded it 5 stars (out of 5) and described it this way: Kona Makai: the best kept secret in Kona! My wife and I have stayed at the Kona Makai condominiums many times and just love the ocean views and the gorgeous grounds. The guests gather by the pool each evening to watch the gorgeous sunsets. We stayed in building 2, which is said by the full-time residents to be the best. Such a bargain for Kona! Need I say more?
