This spacious 1980’s Lindal Cedar home (2200 square feet) is fully furnished and nestled amid tall Douglas Fir and Cedar trees on a private ½ acre south-facing waterfront property. Enjoy spectacular sunsets and unsurpassed views of Shawnigan Lake from the living room, dining room, master bedroom, large deck or dock. Balcony steps lead down to grass yard, natural beach front (190 feet) and dock. The water is clean and beautiful to swim and play in. The sun is available all day long however there are a few shady spots for those who need to get out of the sun! Full well equipped kitchen with dining room (seats 6) off deck. Fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, coffee grinder, cooking and baking utensils. Laundry facilities.

  • Payment Schedule: 50% down upon booking with the remainder of payment due 45 days prior to booking. This will automatically be taken off your credit card 45 days prior. $30./per person for each person over the set number of 8 guests. Cleaning fee of $150.00 will also be collected at this time. Visa, Mastercard or certified cheque payment Only.

    Cleaning Fee: There is an automatic $150.00 cleaning fee added to the final payment.

    Rental: Check-in 4 p.m., Check-out 11:00 a.m. Peak season rentals are from Sunday to Sunday blocks.

    To secure the rental you must provide the following:

    1. 1/2 deposit payment by VISA, MASTERCARD or certified cheque in Canadian funds ONLY.
    2. Completed and signed agreement returned (signed by all adults who will be staying at the property).
    3. Damage Deposit of $500.00 received.
  • CANCELLATION: Must cancel 60 days prior to reservation booking to be entitled to a full refund.
    Cancellations within 60 to 46 days prior to arrival date will be subject to a 20 per cent cancellation fee. Cancellations 45 days prior to arrival date are NOT refundable unless we can rent it.

Driving Directions from Swartz Bay/Victoria: From Swartz Bay ferry - take the Pat Bay Highway and follow the signs to the Nanaimo turnoff which takes you up island. Travel the Island Highway to Mill Bay. The 2nd set of lights in Mill Bay is the intersection of the Island Highway and the Shawnigan Lake/Mill Bay Road turn off. Turn left and follow this road all the way to the four-way stop sign in Shawnigan Lake village. Turn right onto Shawnigan Lake/Renfrew Road. Keep going and you will pass Mason's Public Beach on the left and Mason's Store on the right. Keep going for about two blocks and you will see 1938 Renfrew on your left. You have arrived! From Victoria, BC take the Island Highway going north to Mill Bay and follow the directions above.

Driving Directions from Nanaimo/Horseshoe Bay: From Nanaimo, BC take the Island Higway going south to Victoria (for about an hour) and travel towards Mill Bay (you will pass a Petro Canada Station and a Friday's Restaurant on the right). Take the next right hand turn onto the Shawnigan Lake/Mill Bay Road. Follow this road all the way to the four-way stop sign in Shawnigan Lake village. Turn right onto Shawnigan Lake/Renfrew Road. Keep going and you will pass Mason's Public Beach on the left and Mason's Store on the right. Keep going for about two blocks and you will see 1938 Renfrew on your left. You have arrived!
