Area Activities: Visit restaurants, spas, museums, or arts and crafts fairs in historic downtown Flagstaff. Take the Grand Canyon railroad or Polar Express to the awesome Grand Canyon from Williams on historic Route 66. Children will enjoy the Deer Farm petting zoo. Winter brings cross country skiing, downhill skiing, snowboarding, and sledding. Children's snow play area is 6 miles. Snow Bowl is 30 minutes drive. National monuments, Indian ruins, the Flagstaff Arboretum, and the Hubbel Telesope are minutes away. Bring your bicycles and ride on miles and miles of great trails for mountain biking adjacent to the home. ATV's OK.
Features of the Home: Come and enjoy the peace and quiet! Relax with a good book by the fieldstone fireplace or play a game of checkers in the 'Route 66 Game Room' Master bedroom features King bed and jetted tub. Two more bedrooms upstairs - one queen, and one single. Futon sofabed in the Game Room plus air mattress for loft sleeping. Enjoy the passing deer or a Kaibab squirrel from the view window i the dining area. More awesome views from the covered porch. Enjoy a leisurely dinner at the hand-hewn pine picnic table created from a huge tree that was removed to build the house. Satellite TV with DVD, VCR. Full size, fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, all appliances, and espresso machine. Relax in the jacuzzi tub at the end of a day of sightseeing or hiking.
