St. Joseph House Summary
This unique, newly remodeled home is a great get-away for a large group of family and friends. 'The Darn Barn' was a large barn that has been redesigned into a 3 floor vacation home. The third floor will sleep 10 comfortably with 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths, complete with kitchen, dining room and living room. Sliding doors will take you out to the deck overlooking the yard where you can catch glimpses of the Lake through the trees and a stairway that will take you right down to the yard. The third floor can be rented alone or along with the 2nd floor. The second floor will give you an additional 2-3 bedrooms and 2 baths and will sleep an additional 8 people. With second kitchen and eating area, family room and living room and second deck overlooking the yard make this a perfect unit for extended family. The ground floor of this home boasts a large game room complete with ping pong table, pool table, air hockey and room to play....

Some of our local summer area attractions are swimming in fresh Lake Michigan water enjoying the sandy sunny beaches, Boating, Jet Skiing, Sailing, Wind Surfing, Fishing, Blueberry, Venetian, Peach & Harbor Festivals along with a kids museum, kids petting zoo, maritime museum including Tall Ship tours & sails. An assortment of music bands play on the river in St. Joe & S. Haven. Dune rides within 30 minutes. There are nature trails within 15 miles for hiking, biking, horseback riding and more....
In the Fall, a drive on Michigan Circle Tour, Antique shops, or the Wine Trail are favorite attractions. Notre Dame football is a little more than 1/2 hour away, and there are harvest festivals and farms galore.
The fun doesn't stop when the weather turns cold. Our winter attractions include ice sculptures, ice skating, sledding, downhill skiing/snowboarding & cross country skiing, all types of unique shops and cut your own Christmas trees all within 30 minutes from the house.
