Golf and Skiing Paradise: Summer Fun: Over 15 top name golf courses within a 20 minute drive of Tannery Creek including Boyne Highlands, Boyne Mountain, Bay Harbor, Little Traverse Bay, Dunmaglas, Petoskey Country Club, True North, and more. Winter Fun: Wiithin a 10-20 minute drive of three major Ski Resorts including Boyne Mountain, Boyne Highlands, and Nubs Nob. Cross country skiing available at these three resorts as well as on the bike trail and on the trails of Petoskey State Park. Sledding and ice skating also available at Petoskey's Winter Park.
Family Activities: Many great family activities within 10 miles including fishing, boating, miniature golf, indoor miniature golf, bowling, movie theater, batting cages, go carts, nature trails, paved 26 mile bike path between Charlevoix and Harbor Springs, sandy beach for Petoskey Stone hunting, and much, much more. Within a short drive to an indoor water park at Boyne Mountain, or an outdoor water park at Mackinaw City. Also easy day trips to Mackinaw Island.
Food and Entertainment: Great restaurants within 20 minute drive including Petoskey as well as Harbor Springs, Charlevoix, and Boyne City. Range from family oriented to elegant dining and many in between. Many with live entertainment and/or TV's for sporting events and pool tables. Many also have outdoor dining areas. The new Odawa Casino located at the south end of Petoskey provides diverse activities including gambling, dining, lounges, and name entertainment.
