Winter activities: Include snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and sleigh rides. Try outdoor skating on Alta Lake in Whistler, weather permitting. Indoor ice skating is offered in the Alpine Meadows area, you can rent skates. For the more daring Heli-skiing provides access to hundreds of runs that you can only access by helicopter.
Summer activities: Include sightseeing, mountain biking, hiking, horseback riding, canoeing and kayaking, river rafting and jet-boating, mountain climbing, paragliding and hang-gliding, back country tours, fishing. Don't forget the world-class golfing as Whistler has been named one of the top 10 golf destinations in the world. Whistler Blackcomb even offers summer skiing and snowboarding on the high-alpine glaciated snow of Horstman Glacier on Blackcomb Mountain.
