The Royal Kahili condo complex is conveniently located mid-way between Kailua town and Keauhou on Alii Drive directly across the street from the ocean with sweeping coastal views from the pool area. A small development, its tranquility and peaceful atmosphere starts in the open-air lobby with the Koi pond and waterfalls. A crystal blue, large pool is a great place for exercise or relaxing beneath the umbrella shaded tables or chaises. Gas barbecues, at the pool area, invite you to stay and keep an eye out for dolphins and whales (in the winter months). This small, safe and secure development will make you feel at home. Our unit has been completely renovated with granite countertops throughout, new appliances, new furnishings and top quality mattresses in both bedrooms. Professionally and tastefully decorated you may not want to leave, so enjoy your tropical drink on our private lanai.

Midway between Kailua town and Keauhou, we are just 1 mile from White Sands (Disappearing Sands) beach and 2 miles from Kahaluu snorkel beach. The Champion Golf Course at Keauhou is approx. 3 miles and shopping in Kailua is 2-2.5 miles. Volcano National Park is approximately 90 miles. The large resorts of Waikoloa are approx. 45 minutes to the north. Deep water snorkeling and kayaking is available at Kealakekua Bay approx. 30 miles south near the City of Refuge. We love sitting by the pool, enjoying a tropical drink with a BBQ fresh fish entree and waiting for another breathtaking sunset and maybe the 'green flash.' Join us!

During heavy surf, you can hear the waves crashing from our private lanai. Extra linens and pillows are available for each bed.

Notes: The complex does have a elevator but there are still 4 steps down to our second floor unit. Throughout the complex there are single steps in the pond and pool areas. Every living and sleeping area has a ceiling fan. Daily maid service is available if arranged at the time of making the reservations. Otherwise the unit will be cleaned at check-out. The land line telephone is for local phone calls only. Phone cards are available at most retailers. Large TVs, hooked up to cable are in the living area and master bedroom.

Our home away from home.: This is our second home so we have attempted to make our unit comfortable but classy, tropical but upscale. The very private lanai faces our 'jungle' which is teaming with colorful, tropical birds, geckos and other wildlife.
