If you enjoy walking, hiking or mountain biking, York Redoubt National Historic Site has beautiful oceanfront trails for you to enjoy and is located just around the corner. You'll also find many parks, lakes, beaches, golf and shopping just minutes away. One of the most popular stops in Atlantic Canada, Peggy's Cove, is roughly 45 minutes away with a stunning scenic drive along the way.
Other rental amenities: Freedom Seaside Cottage is very proud to offer a peaceful relaxing getaway with breathtaking views to give that rural feeling everyone dreams of having on vacation yet is just a short drive from downtown Halifax where you will find nightly entertainment, family activities such as the Busker Festival, Harbour Hopper, Theadore Tugboat as well as numerous other events which take place throughout the year.
It is our goal to ensure our guests are as comfortable as possible, we have done our best to include everything you would need to feel as though you were in your own home! We ask that our guests fill out and return a rental agreement which will be sent to them upon booking with us and please note we also require an orientation upon your arrival to answer any questions you may have.
