Westway House is a four season vacation paradise that begins the year with the winter ski season. Coeur d'Alene is situated within an hour of four major ski resorts, including Schweitzer Mountain and Silver Mountain, boasting a six-person gondola. In addition, you will find hundreds of miles of snowmobile trails. Attractions in the late Spring include the Coeur d'Alene Marathon (held in May), 'Car d'Alene' which is a three-day classic car event, and the world famous Ironman Triathalon (held in June).

Summer brings one of the largest Fourth of July celebrations in the Inland Northwest. Included in the festivities are a parade, a multitude of food offerings, street dances, and music everywhere! The culmination is a spectacular fireworks display over the lake. In August, you can experience the Wooden Boat Show, and Art on the Green which features three days of fine art, fine food, and fine music. Thanksgiving weekend offers the Festival of Lights.
