- The bathrooms were renovated in 2008. The first floor bathroom has a shower with pond stone floor and ceramic tile walls and ceiling. The second floor bathroom is ceramic and a combination shower and tub. The third floor has a large marble shower and the original claw foot tub. All have custom mirrors, ceramic floors and great lighting.

- All the rooms are freshly painted and full of character and charm. All except the second floor 'Lobster Room' have water views. They are filled with a combination of antiques and new furnishings. The theme is totally nautical and the rooms are decorated accordingly. The home home was professionally decorated by the well known designer Carlton Varney in 1993 and renovated again in 2008, professionally, with Mr. Varney's touch still very much a part of the decorating scheme. Bluebrier has two fireplaces. There is a wood burning fireplace in the kitchen and a gas fireplace in the Keeping Room, both on the first floor.
