Woodland Park Cabin Summary

Our cabin is newly remodeled with an open floor plan and all the comforts of home, nestled among 50 year old giant pines, and river cottonwoods. It is located on 40 beautiful acres, once an old mining town with loads of history. Relax to the sounds of the creek or fish your way south on Westcreek until you reach the dam, and try your luck lake fishing in Westcreek Lake. Enjoy the large private hot tub at the end of your day of adventure, of which you'll find plenty in this area. Enjoy a night on the large wood deck with nothing but solitude and millions of stars to keep you company, while enjoying a glass of our complimentary Colorado wine. Also, don't forget the large gas grill for family, or intimate cookouts. Once here, you'll never want to leave!!

THERE ARE SO MANY THNGS TO DO IN SUCH CLOSE PROXIMITY, THERE ARE ALMOST TOO MANY TO MENTION. HWY 67 IN BOTH DIRCTIONS OFFER A MULTITUDE OF THINGS TO DO. THE PLATTE RIVER IS NORTH AND A BEAUTIFUL DRIVE, AS WELL AS TUBING, RAFTING AND GOLD MEDAL FLY FISHING. THERE MANY NEARBY RESEVOURS. BIKE, ATV, AND HORSE TRAILS. PIKES PEAK, CAVE OF THE WINDS. FUN SHOPS AND ALWAYS INTERESTING PEOPLE. WE HAVE A LARGE VARIETY OF BROCHURES AND MAPS TO HELP YOU FIND YOUR WAY TO THE FUN. OR MAYBE VIST CRIIPPLE CREEK, NOT INTO GAMBLING, GREAT MUSEUMS OR AT LEAST STOP IN FOR ALL YOU CAN EAT SEA FOOD ON A FRIDAY NIGHT. TAKE YOUR PICK, NO TIME TO GET BORED. OH AND THE QUCKLY BECOMING FAMOUS DINOSAUR MUSEUM STARTED BY A LOCAL WOODLAND MAN. THERE ARE SOME OF THE FINEST MASSAGE THERAPISTS, AS WELL AS OTHER ENERGETIC HEALERS IN WOODLAND PARK. OR YOU COULD ALWAYS STOP IN MANITOU AND ROAM THE SHOPS, LOTS OF LOCAL ARTISTS, CHEYENNE MOUNTAIN ZOO, OR THE AIR FORCE ACADEMY. AND THERE IS STILL MORE...

THE THIRD ROOM - THE PONY ROOM, SORT OF WESTERN SHEIK, FULL BED WITH HANDMADE ASPEN FRAME MADE FROM THE WOOD OF THE HAYMAN FIRE. BED IS VERY COMFORTABLE, AND THE ROOM IS VERY NICE. IF ANYONE WANTS TO BE ADVENTUOUS ENOUGH TO CAMP OUT WE CAN ARRANGE THAT TOO, WE HAVE HUGE TENTS, ONE IS A WALL TENT WITH THREE SEPARATE ROOMS. I'M THINKING MAYBE 15-30... .

Notes: WE DO HAVE A SEPARATE LAUNDRY ROOM WTIH FULL SIZE WASHER AND DRYER, AND A FOLDING TABLE. ALSO A LARGE UTILITY ROOM IN THE LAUNDRY ROOM WITH RODS TO HANG CLOTHING, EXTRA TOWELS, SHEETS , ETC. We do allow children , however be aware that this is on a creek which can be a little deep and fast during Spring runoffs. Small children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Children under 12 must have adult present in Hot Tub at all times We do accept well behaved pets and horses for an additional fee..........

ATV AND DIRT BIKE TRAILS: 40 MILES OF WELL MAINTAINED AWESOME TRAILS, JUST UP HWY 67 OFF PAINTED ROCKS ROAD, THERE IS ALSO RAINBOW FALLS JUST A LITTLE FURTHER DOWN, WHERE THEY ALSO HOLD THE MOTORCYLCL ICE RACES IN WINTER. IF YOU DON'T MIND TRAVELING ABOUT 45 MINUTES THERE IS THE ULTIMATE, RAMPART RANGE TRAILS, THE FIRE TOWER IS ALSO LOCATED THERE, WHERE YOU CAN GET THE MOST AMAZING 360 DEGREE VEIW. A BIT OF A HIKE BUT NOTHING LIKE IT.............
