- The bathroom is roomy and really has the feel of the Northwest beach cottage. We hope you'll enjoy the little surprises built in. This house is on a private well and septic system. Therefore, we encourage water conservation and hope you reuse your towels during the visit. Extras are provided - just in case.

Planning an event?: WEDDING VENUE AVAILABLE NEXT DOOR - Coming in May of 2009. The owners of this cottage have a small farm and vineyard just through the woods. This creates privacy for the cottage guests but allows for large groups to gather for weddings, vow renewals, anniversaries, birthday, family reunions and corporate events. Additional cottages available in immediate area. Call for more information, Lori - 253-884-4412. This wedding property features, a 1920's European style farm house, views of the Puget Sound and Mt. Rainier, vast flower and vegitable gardens, orchards, huge old cedar and fir trees, a few camp sites with a fire pit, and a Pinot Noir Vineyard with a pavilliion located in the center, perfect for your event. (We were married there in 2005 and it was magical). Designed for outdoor events only but with the pavillion in place, there is protection from the rain. Maximum capacity 100. Perfect for more intimate gatherings.
Kayaking Paradise: If you have your own Kayak this is a great spot to vacation. The cottage overlooks 'Joe's Bay' aka VonGeldern Cove in the South Puget sound area known as the Key Peninsula. That's right! a peninsula surrounded by water with access to remote bays, parks, wildlife and everything you enjoy about kayaking. Just enter the water from the boat lanch at bottom of the hill from the cottage- about a minute away.
