Muskegon House Details

The home, aka Sancheron LLC, sits on a shaded lot off a small court. There is parking for three cars. The second floor has two bedrooms separated by a 3/4 bath and a sitting room that opens onto a large deck. The top floor living dining area has the ambiance and privacy of a tree house with views of Lake Michigan and wooded areas. Enjoy the colorful sunsets from the deck. The deck surrounds 3 sides of the top floor. The deck off the kitchen has two picnic tables and a gas grill. Take the beach chairs down to the spacious sandy beach less than 40 yards from the house.

Pere Marquette Park is a Nationally Designated Clean and Safe Beach located just south of the Muskegon Channel. A quote from National Geographic Traveler: 'Two-mile-long Pere Marquette wide swatch of sole-soothing sand keep visitors active with volleyball nets, playground sets, and picnic areas. The water is pristine and salt-free. No jellyfish - - and no sharks.' (A freshwater environment) There are two restaurants, walk/biking trails and several playgrounds in the park. BIKES are available for renter's use. Strolling the beach, the pier to the lighthouse, and along the channel to Muskegon Lake are a must.

Air conditioning relies on lake breezes and ceiling fans located throughout the house. The home is not handicap accessible and all stairways are interior. Personal cell phones are advised. Bring your boat along and enjoy the beautiful sights from the water. Public boat launches are available on Muskegon Lake with access into Lake Michigan. Fishing for salmon, walleye, lake trout, and perch makes for a tasty dinner on the grill. Charter fishing boats are also available.

Other Activities: sand volley ball
