What about Perth?: Perth Western Australia is known for its vast white sandy coastline which stretches for thousands of kilometers. You can walk along the beach at any time and not come across another beach dweller however you will get keen surfers any time of the year. We have freedom and serenity here something rare in today's world. In the characteristic port of Fremantle we have Ciccerelos well known in WA for their fresh fish and of course, the lively South Terrace full of restaurants and cafes. The Fremantle Markets is also well worth a visit with art & crafts antique stalls and laces, custom made jewelery, cheeses & fresh produce. Margaret River Wine Region is located 3.5hours driving to the south of Perth and is usually an overnight trip. We have our famous Karri Valley Timber Top walk to the south as well and this is something special to experience - walking amongst the tree-tops. If you are feeling adventurous you can always climb the Gloucester Tree in the same area.
