- The Bathroom- The bathroom has approximately 7 feet of tiled counter space, with storage shelves underneath. There is a clothes closet with floor to ceiling shelves, and hanging space for longer clothes. The shower is over-sized (5ft X6ft) with shower heads on each end, and a small window with a view of ocean and palm trees.

- The bedroom has a comfortable king sized bed under a 25 foot high round domed roof. At night, the stars shine through the small windows that circle the dome. The extra large window to the east, has mountain views that allow cool fresh air flow in at night. We are located on a dead ended road that just has local traffic to the 25 houses strung along this beach road. It is very tranquil here.

Punta Negra Cottage Details
Playa Careyeros is on the first mile of ocean beach north of the Bay of Banderas. The large peninsula of land that separates us from the bay is Punta de Mita, location of the world famous Four Seasons Luxury Hotel. People come from all over the world to surf the waters along this part of the coast. Our little complex of Casa de Juanita and its adjoining Casita, is built on Punta Negra. Translated, black point; it is an outcropping of black rocks (with its tide pools at low tide) that lies between Playa Careyeros and Playa Litibu. We have miles of great beach walking and exploring in both directions and, most days, you will not pass another person on these pristine beaches. If you want more activity, fiesta time, and many good restaurants, it is easy to get the villages of Punta Mita, a 10 minute drive to the south, Sayulita a 15 minutes drive north, the town of Bucerias is a 20 minute drive south, or the City of Puerto Vallarta a 45 minute drive to the south.
