Brookings House Summary

This 1400 sq. ft. slightly rustic home has games for kids, cards, and puzzles, books, and movies. Satellite TV offers 150 channels. The full kitchen, dining area and living room is all one great room. The oversized deck, which wraps around 2 sides of the house, has a charcoal bar-b-que and patio table with 6 chairs. The Chetco River in front of the house boasts some of the best salmon and steelhead fishing around. Some of the largest salmon on the river are caught right in front of the River House in the fall and winter at Moffet Rock. Slam'n Salmon Fishing Derby is held every September in Brookings with prizes to the winners and a special hosted barbecue.

Ideally located in Oregon's desirable 'banana belt', in the middle of the famed 'America's Wild Rivers Coast', (where fishing, whitewater rafting, kayaking, and jet boat tours reign) is our cozy, A-framed house overlooking the beautiful Chetco River. Views from the living room, loft and very large deck are breathtaking! Tranquility surrounds this place. A short walk from the house takes you down to the river where you'll find a nice beach area where you can swim in the summer or fish during fishing season. Kayaks can be rented in Brookings for fun on the river. The front of the house facing the river is all windows which gives the feeling of always being outside with a spectacular view. The Chetco River House is also above the summer morning, coastal fog.

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

  • $120-$150 night $720-$900 week
  • May to end of Oct. $150/night. Nov. to end of April $120/night
    Stay 6 days and get 7th day free. 2 night minimum required.
    Up to 6 guests. $10 per additional guest after 6.
    non-refudable cleaning fee $60
    Half of rental rate is required to hold reservation. Remaining balance due 30 Days

The beautiful Salmon Run Golf Course is located 1-1/2 miles from the house. It is a MUST play. Tight fairways and breath taking views on every hole. Salmon Run is ranked one of the most beautiful and challenging golf courses in Oregon. Brookings Harbor has miles of beaches where one can play in the surf and sand and enjoy a family picnic.
