Kids friendly, many area attractions!: A short distance to the Michigan City Zoo, Washington Park playgrounds and marina. Feel like shopping? The outlet mall is less than a five minute drive. Feeling lucky? The Blue Chip Casino is a ten-minute drive. Great dining options locally and in New Buffalo, Union Pier, Michigan which is a quick 15 minute drive. Feeling adventurous? There is a skate park just five minutes away, Jet Ski rental at Washington Park beach and fishing charters by the score. If you like your adventure on foot, try the many trails and beautiful grounds at the Indiana Dunes Lakeshore State Park. The local golf course is a few hundred YARDS away.
Golf: The 18-hole 'Long Beach' course at the Long Beach Country Club facility in Long Beach, Indiana features 6,542 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 71.5 and it has a slope rating of 129. Long Beach golf course opened in 1924. Club has reciprocal agreements with other clubs for non-members.
